Questions sellers ask
What is a flat-fee MLS listing?
The MLS (Multiple Listing Service) is the database real estate agents use to find homes for their buyers, and it feeds the big home search sites. Normally only a listing agent can put a home there. With a flat-fee listing, you pay a one-time fee and a licensed brokerage enters your home in the MLS, while you keep selling it yourself.
Will my home show up on Zillow and Realtor.com?
Yes, with the MLS Listing plan. Your MLS listing is sent automatically to Zillow, Realtor.com, Homes.com, Google and other sites that take the MLS feed. It usually appears within 24 to 48 hours of going live.
Do I have to pay a buyer’s agent?
That’s your decision. Since August 2024, offers to pay buyer’s agents can’t be advertised in the MLS, and buyers now sign written agreements with their own agents. Some buyers will ask you to cover their agent’s fee as part of their offer. You can accept, counter or decline, just like any other term.
Who handles showings and offers?
You do. Buyers and their agents contact you directly using the showing contact on your listing. You schedule showings, review offers and negotiate yourself. Many sellers hire a real estate attorney to review the contract.
Is FSBO Listed my real estate agent?
No. We provide a limited, flat-fee service: we enter and maintain your MLS listing and give you marketing tools. We don’t negotiate for you, advise you on price or contract terms, or draft contracts. You stay unrepresented, which is what keeps the cost flat.
What does the AI do?
It turns your answers about the home into a polished listing: MLS remarks, a longer description for Zillow and other sites, feature bullets and a social post.
